POST GRADUATE ADMISSION NOTICE

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission to Master’s Degree Programme for the academic session 2011-2012 in the following subjects under different faculties.

A. Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences: In all departments as mentioned in VCI minimum standards
B. Faculty of Dairy Technology: Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Technology & Dairy Engineering
C. Faculty of Fishery Sciences: Aquaculture, Fish Processing Technology, Fishery Resources Management, Aquatic Animal Health, Aquatic Environment Management, Fishery Extension & Fishery Economics

Admission requirements in details & seat matrix in different departments are available in the Office Notice Board and Web site.

The admission schedule will be as follows:-

1. Date of issue of forms from                                             : 28/07/2011 to 08/08/2011
2. Last date of submission of forms                                    : 08/08/2011
3. Personal Interviews                                                        : 11/08/2011 & 12/08/2011
4. Publication of Merit lists                                                  : 18/08/2011
5. Date of Admission                                                            : 24/08/2011
6. Date of Registration                                                        : 25/08/2011

The venue of the personal interview will be held in the concerned department.

Application forms may be collected from the office of the Controller of Examinations except in Saturday & Sunday on producing a bank draft of Rs.300/- for General & Rs.150/- for SC & ST of any nationalized Bank in favour of Finance Officer, W.B.U.A.F.S. payable at Kolkata or it may be downloaded from the website. Separate application should be made for each subject of study.
